Blog Imagery — Origin Investments

This is a selection of blog images that I created for Origin Investments, a firm well-known for producing high-quality content in the real estate investment space. The images are designed to grab attention in social feeds and the monthly newsletter, and to create a cohesive visual identity for the education center on the company website.

Most start as stock photos, then get clipped, collaged, and colorized to fit within Origin's brand palette of aqua, blue, and green. There's some intentional variety in the composition and treatment of each image — this keeps the collection from looking too uniform and each piece from becoming indistinct within it. I also make a point of ensuring every image is meaningfully connected to the subject of its article rather than a generic abstraction. The idea is that when paired with a strong headline, a relevant image creates a curiosity gap that makes a reader stop and consider clicking.
