Submit Postcard
The SMFA Art Sale showcases the work of students, faculty, alumni, and other artists affiliated with SMFA. Every year, a call for submissions in the form of a postcard is mailed to this community. This audience makes work in a wide variety of media. As such, it is always a challenge to choose a signature image that is inclusive of all forms of making. Our approach was to create a design that embraced that diversity instead of battling it.
Each word is handcrafted out of raw materials then photographed or scanned into the computer. See larger details below.
