The Secret of a Master Affiliate Marketing Millionaire: Motivation

After a recent conversation with one of my good friends and  affiliate mentor, I was asking preliminary questions for an interview.  I asked how do you get that driving force to create a successful affiliate marketing business?

He responded with the following question:

How do you motivate yourself?

I know I’ve reviewed some of this previously, but,  I’m only repeating it because it is so important.

OK, let’s start at the beginning, again.

#1) Discover your own passion. First, you have to define what you enjoy doing.  The reason you have to discover your own passion is to discover ” The Why” you’re doing this.  It’s got to be something you have a burning passion for.

In Affiliate Marketing, when you do this, you’re at your very best. You can bury your competition and have fun at the same time. It’s a known fact, the most successful entrepreneurs love what they do.Start to find your own passion in your hobbies, interests or even the things you have special knowledge in.

Don’t feel bad if your really can’t decide what you’re really, super, passionate about.  It’s happened to me and it’s happened to everyone at one time or another.  You loose track  of  your most basic drive.  Here’s a secret affiliate tip to finding your passion.

This exercise will take about 15 minutes to a half an hour.  If done right,  it may change your life or, aAt the  very least,  be a real eye opener.

How You Can Discover Your True Passion:

Get up early one morning, knowing you won’t be disturbed.  Now, with a cup of coffee or tea, by yourself, try to imagine that today is a totally FREE day.

Think:  “My to do list for today, is to do, whatever will make ME happy”.

Say that out loud:  “My to do list for today, is to do, whatever will make ME happy”.

Think:  If I could do anything I wanted to do today, anything, what would I do?

Make a list of all the possible things you want to do,  never have been able to do,  never thought you could do or what you would do with (3) wishes.  Don’t think about it, just write them down,  let the thoughts flow. Remember, you can’t make a mistake here.

Take 10 minutes, 15 minutes or as long as it takes. Let your imagination run wild. Think about this;  If your take this seriously, you will be able to check everything off this list one day and say, “I did that.” List everything you can think of.  Don’t be bashful.  Remember, this list is just for YOU and this is supposed to be FUN!

Next, look over your list.  Now the work really starts…. Just kidding!

You need to pick your top (10) favorites. If you don’t have ten,  go back to step #1.  Then,  prioritize the top 10.  Start with # 1 and work your way down to #10.   Is that hard?  OK, let me give you some motivation.

You have just been notified you have six months to live.  You will feel exactly how you feel today, and then in six months from today, you will die.

What are you going to do first?

Now, we’re zeroing in on something most people have never discovered about themselves. What makes you tick????

You have just placed yourself in the top 2% of affiliate marketers.  Having done this,  I want to congratulate you! You now have a hidden power, an inner strength of immense proportion.

When you fully understand this, there is nothing you can’t accomplish.  If and when you harness this power, you will become a dynamo.

I know, what you’re saying:  I have a wife,  kids,  a mortgage,  car payments, a job,  I can’t just drop everything.  You’re right.

You’ve just discovered something that will fuel the furnace to build your affiliate business around everything above.   All the obstacles,  all the disappointments,  all the challenges that stand in the way will pale in comparison of the power you can pull from your passions. The reason is, you now have the most motivating force that can drive you,  the desire to succeed for a reason… The Reason is your Passion.

Do you need any more convincing?

Affiliate Marketing is the fastest, most successful,

way to start a home business today!

Here’s something for you to consider, even if you’re just thinking about starting a home based business.

Affiliate marketing is just about the largest “In Home Business” being used today. It’s huge and growing, or should I say EXPLODING!

Research shows that affiliate marketing is a $ 6. 5 billion business worldwide and it is rapidly expanding. There are thousands of people who are making  affiliate marketing their full-time jobs and earning sometimes thousands of dollars a month.

Why is affiliate marketing so popular?

Simply because the Affiliate business model,  has some distinct differences and advantages from other business models:

#1 The biggest advantage would be the affiliate marketer has no inventory.  What this means is you do not worry about inventory, storage, supply or unsold merchandise.

#2 Second advantage,  if you don’t need inventory,  you don’t need large start-up capital to buy inventory before you can start your business.

#3 Third,  all of the customer service burden is on the company your an affiliate for. That’s all customer service, tracking shipments, orders, payments, returns, etc.  All customer service is handled by your merchant.

Your sole function is to promote the product and make sales. All the rest of the business services are provided by the merchant.

#4 Fourth,  with affiliate marketing, there’s no need for a physical store address, no stock, no rent, no inventory. And there is no need for employees, payroll and the like.  In most cases, all you need is a computer and Internet connection and nothing more.

#5 Fifth, with affiliate marketing, and this is one of my favorites, you don’t have to commute to and from work. How far is it to your computer? I know that souds to good to be true. Let me tell you I can relate, driving over 1 1/2 hours each way to work living in So. CA. for over 7 yrs.  It’s no fun.

Realalistically,  affiliate marketing is a great way to do business.

Is Affiliate Maketing for you?

As simple as affiliate marketing sounds, to be successful, you will need to be serious about your attitude. This is a business, not a hobby. You will have to approach it with this attitude to make money.  You will have to follow a system of techniques, strategies, that have been proven to produce profits and you will repeat that success. Don’t think that you can go off on your own and make this work. You might get lucky, but chances are you’ll fall into the same traps, pit falls, obstacles, disappointments, that are the ones you wanted to avoid.  My belief, from experience, has shown that those who follow a proven system will have the same results. Those that follow the path of experimentation will also have results, but what result is the question?

Is this for you? That’s a question nobody else can answer but you.

Not to burst your bubble, affiliate marketing is anything but simple. Being your own boss, having the discipline to manage your own business is not easy. You must be determined,  self motivated and focused on what you want to accomplish.  Believe me when I tell you it’s not easy. Please don’t think you can read a couple  emails in the morning over coffee,  place a couple ads  and make $5,000 a month.  I  would be doing you a disservice to suggest that  and anyone that tells you that is scamming you. That does happen, but not in the beginning.

The potential you can make from Affiliate Marketing is, well let’s just say, the Sky’s the Limit. How you get there is the secret.

What is the Power of Affiliate Marketing? How do you Create Wealth From a Home Business?

Affiliate marketing is gaining popularity as a business to earn a substantial income from home.  In the past decade affiliate marketing has spread its way through the Internet like wildfire.

My vision is becoming  a reality.

The power of affiliate marketing can create a lucrative income for anyone with a computer and Internet access. Yes it’s that easy. You don’t have to have any  specific skills to enter into affiliate marketing, because most of the hard work is already done for you.  Affiliate marketing is a simple process of duplication, which allows anyone to use a system that is already set up. In other words, the success of the affiliate marketer is determined by promoting marketing strategies and techniques that are  already proven, tried and tested.  All the initial field work has been done, allowing anyone who wants to become an affiliate to step up, plug in and be part of a proven marketing system. By following a few simple steps you can create financial wealth for yourself while working from home.

Here are  (4) surefire ways to become an affiliate marketing success:

# 1. ) “Enter The Zone”

Make sure you have your own space where they can work freely, without being interrupted by children or by external influences. You have to focus on the strategic plans  of your business, eliminating all distractions will allow you to concentrate your energy toward your goals in implementing your affiliate marketing objectives.

Nothing in business happens as fast as you want it to.  The way you’ve imagine  it, the way you thought it was going to go, just never seems to be the way it turns out.  Focus, be a persistent, consistent, dedicated, entrepreneur and you will find success.  Don’t be swayed by the stories of overnight success.  These are a lot like the stories of Jackpot winners in Vegas.  Nobody brags about their losses. Stick to the basics.

Monetizing Your Passions

Money for Nothing and your chicks for free …

Sometimes I flash back to the old school of  Rock and Roll, how it relates to Affiliate Marketing.  The band Dire Straits and the song ” Money for Nothing” really has a lot of marketing genius in it,  especially how it  relates to Affiliate Marketing.

What’s crazy is the song used some unique and  timely “key words”, which then (1985)  probably propelled it to the top of the charts.  Not only “Money for Nothing”, but also, “I want my MTV!”.   If you remember,  MTV was also kind of a renegade to the the times. I mean really, putting music on TV? That was an nearly an underworld cult back then as strange as that  sounds.  This is a perfect example of paying attention and stepping in front of the market to reap the profits.

The lure of making money online causes most of us to jump right in before we’re adequately prepared.  If you want to be a great lawyer,  a doctor,  a mason,  a carpenter,  an administrator,  a teacher or Realtor there are things you must learn before you can expect to become an expert and earn a top salary.

The same applies to  Affiliate Marketing,  although there are some Guru’s that proclaim this is a “walk in the park” and requires no more than the”Blind Faith”  that if you just sign up to their program they will make you rich.

This maybe a walk in the park compared to what you do everyday;  putting up with in the real working world,  hours of commuting,  punching a time clock, submitting the veil of corporate policies and regulations.  However,  keep in mind there are still rules you have to follow,  even in the independent Affiliate Marketing world.  There are dangers, hazards and pitfalls you must avoid to actually make affiliate marketing work for you.  Remember,  most people don’t  make a dime as affiliate marketers and yet there are others who will do more in a month than most people make in a year.

Why is that?

My answer begins with the age old question of the  chicken or the egg question, “what comes first the chicken or the egg?”  Personally,  I think,  never mind… I have no idea and don’t think anybody else really  knows either.  But one thing I do know,  with certainty, that to make money as an affiliate marketer you must first have a passion for the company’s products or services in order to have any hope  in making any money.

Passion is not the only thing you need to succeed.  It’s only a start.  It is the fuel that will drive you through the tough times, the times of disappointment, the times of discouragement. Believe me this isn’t going to be a cake walk  or a day at the beach. Those days will come later and you will have to earn them.  That’s OK  it makes that much more enjoyable.

You have to look at Affiliate Marketing as business. If you don’t it will just become another expensive hobby with nothing but money going out!!!

My father once owned a 36 ft. Islander sailboat, just gorgeous. I have many found memories of sailing on the ‘ol “Salty Dog” outside Marina del Rey.  I remember he used to always say,  “Isn’t this great, we’re sailing at 14 knots,  for FREE,  off the wind.”  Then he taught me a lesson about hobbies.  He told me that his hobby was sailing,  but this beautiful boat was nothing more than a hole in the water that he pored money into.  I asked,  “But this is great,  it’s so much fun,  isn’t worth it?”  His reply was, “Yes,  of course it is,  but I can afford it.”

Now you need to monetize your passion. You have great resources in the search engines on the Internet to research the marketing industry, Affiliate Businesses Marketing Opportunities, use them!

In your research you should be able to find  a company you like and can have confidence in.  It should be rock solid, based on sound principles, easy to understand, with excellent products and services.  Don’t settle for anything less.

Remember, there are certain steps you should and must follow before entering Affiliate Marketing.  Find a company with products and services second to none and you can be passionate about.  Everything else may just cause a lot of frustration instead of bringing you the success you deserve. When you find the right company,  I will show you how to build an affiliate network to monetize your passion.

Part/Time Effort, Part/Time Results…

OK,  let’s get serious!

I’ve dibbled,  dabbled  and just generally screwed off for quite awhile.

I think my fascination with some things far exceeds my intelligence. Oh well,
just bare with me. As I’ve explained in previous social sites, this is kind of a hunt
and peck method to get my experiences and some great tips, strategies and
killer marketing tools out. I first have to learn the medium, which I’ve done now
for far too long.

Now it’s Blast Off time!

So here we go…

I’ll be downloading some great content as quick as I can load it.

Most of the content that I have rights to will be free. Other then just regurgitating
from my past experiences, I look to find the hot topics of what you want to know about.

Certainly sales and marketing, affiliate marketing, network marketing, is changing and
growing everyday. What I find so exciting from the Internet is the Market, the Opportunity,
the Techniques, the Strategies are virally mushrooming ever faster.

I once thought that I missed the wave by not getting involved in Internet Marketing during
the mid ‘90s. Well, I guess that was definitely a “hay day”. Well, I just want to reassure you
if that was a good swell. The next 2-3 years will be like Wiamea breaking at 30ft. In other
words, the best is yet to come.

If you are serious about expanding your affiliate network, if you are serious about making
more money, if you are serious about building a business that will provide for you and your
family for years to come, then you need to get hooked up with a program that will produce
the results you’re looking for.

This might not come from one source. In fact, more then likely it won’t. But you have to
find quality resources that will provide you with the tools, the vehicles, to accomplish those
goals.

My philosophy is only to recommend products, to review products, that I’ve personally have
used or tested and have had success with. I have always lived by the credo, “I better be
damned satisfied, if my name goes on it”.
