This is a “Simple Simon Recipe to Success” for Affiliate Marketing…

1.  Do your research and find a profitable niche.
2.  Locate the best product to promote within that niche.
3.  Research keywords with the least amount of competition.
4.  Write articles about the benefits your product offers and submit to different article  sites.
5.  Get links to your site through articles, lens, blog posts, websites, etc.
6.  Repeat the process over and over and over again. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

The formula is rather simple.  All you have to do is what has already been proven to work.  Consistency is the key.  So if this is really that simple, why do so many people fail?  The biggest reason is because they get impatient, they don’t see immediate results so they quit.

Believe me, I understand because I’ve been there and thought the same thing. I had the need for immediate gratification before I would continue to put all this time and effort into any type of venture. So essentially, I never completed the entire system before I was diverted to the next.  I also wanted to circumvent “the proven system” with my own or borrowed ideas and techniques. This is wrong, so don’t do this… Commit to a system and follow it through.

Everyday we are tempted by all of the promises of financial success by following some new simple and easy steps to success .  The next thing you know you’ve spent another $97 dollars on this course or $197 on the newest program that is going to show you exactly what to do.  I’m also guilty of looking for the next quick fix for making money online instead of doing what really needed to be done… follow the system, step, by step. Instead, I became an affiliate marketing junkie, buying one program after another.

In order to have any type of affiliate marketing success you need to learn the systems that produce results.  Once you have the right tools, you must start implementing what you have learned on a daily basis. Forget about checking your emails and start taking action and put into place the systems that will show you results. Over time, you will start seeing results which will build your confidence.  When you see the monetary results from your efforts, you realize that putting action towards a given producing system will produce the outcome and profits you’re looking for. This is how your business will continue to grow. You can always expand from your initial success with other programs.

Start with sticking with one formula for success and be patient.  Find a profitable niche, locate the best product, do your keyword research, write about the benefits, get links and repeat the process over and over again.  It really is that simple and it really does work.  This is the formula for affiliate marketing success.

Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication. There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.  Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. When it comes to:  The Perfect Home Based Business for You, what you need to do is, open your eyes, ears, log on to the internet and do some Serious Research.

We’re not playing games here.

1.  Remember the reasons why we are looking for a home based business in the first place is to make money. Always do your research, call and ask questions of your prospective affiliate companies. It is going to be your time, your energy, your blood, your sweat and your tears you will be investing.

Let’s be confident going in through the front door.

2.  Next establish what you want out of this relationship with your new business partner.

Will you be able to put forth the effort required to get out what you want?

3.  Don’t be afraid to set goals for yourself short and long term, for the next year, for five years?

You should be looking at a long term relationship. When you make your decision, make sure the company you are dealing with has the same commitment.

You should NOT be thinking, “I’ll try this for awhile and if it doesn’t workout, I’ll find something else.”  This is a recipe for FAILURE from the start.

5.   Judge from their answers if this is a viable company to do business with.

Don’t worry about being redundant, hopefully you will establish a relationship with someone in the company that will be your confidant.

Believe me if your name is known in the the company for the right reasons,  it  can only work in your favor when you need something special.

6. This is BASIC,  Always  Search Google for comments and reviews.

With today’s economy,  there are numerous scams out there to take what little money you have left with the promise to make you rich.  With that being said, there are also legitimate programs that with effort and training will produce income for you over the internet.

So, depending on your skill level, your desire, your willingness to treat this as a real business,  this is definitely an avenue to pursue.  But…

BE AWARE,  DEAL WITH ONLY THOSE YOU TRUST, AND VERIFY EVERYTHING…

Just like any high rise construction project, the foundation is essential.

Build it strong, with reinforcement and a little TLC.

The strongest foundation to any affiliate marketing business is the “List”.

1. Build an opt-in list and build a relationship with that list. You should send one email daily or at least weekly to your list. Give your list members tips or information that is valuable to them, and promote an affiliate product or service that is related to the topic of the email.
2. Write and submit articles on a regular basis. Not only will this increase sales and signups for your opt-in list, but it will also help to build your online reputation and credibility.
3. Be completely honest in all of your business dealings. If a customer complains to you, follow up with the merchant, even though it is not your legal responsibility to do so. You won’t get ahead by cheating people.
4. Never recommend or promote products that you have not tried yourself and don’t fully believe in. When you make a recommendation, it is your reputation on the line. If you are picky about what you promote, your recommendations will become more powerful.
5. You have to prove yourself. Don’t expect to start out as a super affiliate. When you can produce a high volume of sales consistently, then you are in a position to be called a super affiliate and seek higher commissions and joint venture deals.
6. Take advantage of all that the merchant has to offer in terms of promotional materials and training – but create your own stuff using theirs as a base. Set yourself apart from other affiliates – don’t ever send your list the same e-mail all the other affiliates will be sending them.
7. Offer what other affiliates don’t offer. For example, you can get numerous private label rights (PLR) products and offer them as free bonuses for people who purchase through your link. Just tell them to send you their receipt after they purchase in order to receive their bonuses.
Follow the affiliate marketing guidelines above at all times online, and work hard to develop an affiliate marketing style that’s right for you – your own affiliate marketing ‘signature’ if you will.
As you get better known in the affiliate marketing world, it doesn’t take long before affiliate managers and joint venture partners start seeking YOU out, making your affiliate marketing efforts simpler and more effective.  At that point, always ask for a review copy of the affiliate product to be sure it’s worth promoting, and don’t be afraid to ask for a higher percentage of affiliate commissions if you feel the public rate is too low.

When you are choosing a product, it is crucial/critical that you understand timing. For the best time to promote any product is when it is new. The only better time is if it is seasonal. Like Spring for Fishing supplies, Baseball, Camping, etc. Winter for Football, Skiing, Snowboarding, etc.

When a product is new or or in season, it is hot, meaning popular, it’s almost to late get it. You can choose popular products to promote but there are principals to understand. Choose products that you like, while at the same time delivers meaningful results. You must always remind yourself that people who are spending there HARD EARN MONEY should be treated just like it was you spending your money on something.  Remember what what you would be  looking for, value and benefits.

Ok, this is what I started out to do; give you vital information
